Linwood Estate Spring Styled Shoot

It’s currently winter here in Pennsylvania with day-old snow still covering the trees and ground. If it’s going to be cold, it might as well snow! And makes me want to burst out singing “Walking in a Winter Wonderland”. But to be honest, I’m kinda ready for some warmer weather! Anyone else? So to warm my heart and soul – and hopefully yours! – I am blogging on one of my favorite spring styled shoots at the Linwood Estate in Carlisle.

Collaborative shoots are pretty much every wedding vendors dream in their “off season”. It’s the perfect time to create and design in ways you always dreamed of but maybe just never had the time, space, creative capacity, or creative team to design together.

Danielle, with Your Sweetest Day Events, beautifully designed this spring shoot. She chose colors that worked perfectly with the spring blooms at the estate. And in my opinion are the quintessential spring colors. Think soft blush, dusty rose/mauve, greens, and ivory. Yessss please! Why didn’t I get married in the spring time?!

The shoot included a ceremony setup, tablescape, dessert display, invitation and stationary suite, traditional wedding day elements, and a real couple! Which always make for the best pictures.

I absolutely adore our local spring flowers. And my friend Trish had the most perfect double tulips and double daffodils, which made the bouquets! We also incorporated local dogwood, lilacs, and cheery blossoms. Ahh, my heart is ready to bring on our spring weddings! In the meantime, enjoy this spring inspiration…in the middle of winter. 🙂
