Hannah & Gordon, all those September fall vibes

This fall wedding!!  It was so dreamy, centered on two cute people madly in love.  And ready to tie the knot.  Surrounded with lots of their favorite people on the perfect estate,  filled with bold seasonal florals, and a touch of fur!

Hannah’s color palette was in all the most amazing fall colors such as dark and bold reds, burgundy, deep purples, and touches of blush pinks.  It was elegant and breathtaking!  And worked beautifully to accomplish her vision for a stately, elegant wedding, with natural touches.

Hannah loved the bold colors and mismatched look for her bridesmaids’ dresses.  We chose mostly dark colors for the girl’s bouquets, with touches of blush, and added pops of those perfectly bright red colors so they really stood out and brought a uniformed look to the flowers.

We used bright red and pink o’hara garden roses, seasonal mums, locally grown dahlias, spray roses, ranunculus, blue thistles since Hannah loved just a touch of blue, and finished the bouquet with a variety of greens.

That sweet moment when your BFF walks down the aisle and you can’t keep back the emotions. 🙂  I think Gordon sure agrees!

And how fun to have six of your little family as your ring-bearers, and three flower girls in your wedding!  The girl’s wore red and white flowers in their hair and dropped red rose petals down the aisle.  We delivered the loose florals to the salon earlier in the day so the stylists could place them appropriately.

Because of their large guest count and consequently the large number of tables needed for the reception, we suggested for Hannah to re-use the girl’s bouquets as a centerpiece. We also made them a bit bigger so they looked better proportioned on the round tables.  We deliver all our bouquets in vases so it was perfect and convenient for them to go back into the vases on the tables after the ceremony.

We also designed large, statement arrangements to give some height to the tables and utilize the space in the large tent.  This was in addition to low, lush centerpieces with same and similar flowers, and the girl’s bouquets.  The look was finished with gold votives around the centerpieces.

I’m a little obsessed with this cake right now…such a perfect balance of that stately elegance and touch of rustic charm!

I truly wish you, Hannah and Gordon, all the best!  It was such an honor taking part in your beautiful day!
